THE MANFREDS in Concert

THE MANFREDS Line-up Picture

On July 22nd 1997 I went to yet another concert at the Cheltenham Town Hall, this time it was to see THE MANFREDS. This band was actually a re-birth of MANFRED MANN as it had four of the originals (including Paul Jones) plus Mike D'Abo. The band did all of their old hits (5-4-3-2-1, Do-wah-diddy-diddy, Pretty Flamingo, Mighty Quinn) plus tracks they performed or wrote in their Solo careers (Theme to The Likely Lads, Handbags & Gladrags, Build Me Up Buttercup, and When I'm Dead And Gone).

The full line-up for the band is:-

After the show I met the band and chatted to them for about 40 minutes.
